Classic herb butter enhances the flavor of most any dish especially grilled fish or vegetables.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:
 
GARLIC AND CHIVE BUTTER

  • 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped chives

PARMESAN AND PEPPER BUTTER

  • 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

FRESH HERB BUTTER

  • 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp parsley

Directions:

Select which recipe you would like to make. Wash herbs very well and gently pat dry with paper towels. Combine the ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well mixed.

Serve the above spreads on baked potatoes, on grilled or broiled steak, tossed with hot pasta, or spread on your favorite bread.
